Adolph Alfred Sanchez, 48 years old of Bernalillo, NM, peacefully passed away on August 10, 2026. Adolph was born on December 13, 1977 to Jose Sanchez and Maura Grossetete. Adolph grew up with a deep passion for life, and a true love of music and food. After graduating from the University of New Mexico, he went on to teach English at Bernalillo High School. In 2006 he went a different way and began working for Verizon. He quickly found a position that would not only make use of his degree but also take him to places he’d never been. He became a trainer and moved to Lincoln, Nebraska. He loved Lincoln, the people and the job, but he wasn’t quite done exploring. He then took a training position (still with Verizon) in Charlotte, NC, which also had him traveling through the East Coast and Southern States. Charlotte is where he truly found peace and a home. In 2022 life changed again and he found himself back home in Bernalillo, NM. He continued to work with Verizon as a traveling trainer for vendor sites. He traveled to the Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Egypt, Colombia and Mexico. He was able to see the world. He worked for Verizon for 18 years ending in 2024. Adolph lived a beautiful life, and he will find himself once again resting in his beloved Charlotte.

Adolph is survived by his father Jose Lucindo Sanchez, his brother Carlos J Sanchez, his lifelong Best Friend Audrey Gonzales and Goddaughter Mykal Gonzales. He was reunited in death with his mom Maura Grossetete.

A rosary and funeral mass with be held at Our Lady of Sorrow Catholic Church in Bernalillo, NM
