Burial
Allen P. Montaño was born on December 29th, 1970. Allen, 55, of Dixon, formerly of Bernalillo, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 8th, 2026.
Allen made a significant impact on the lives of those who knew him, through his friendly demeanor, humor and dedication to his family. He dedicated many years of his career to Lowe’s home improvement before moving on to the Ohkay Casino as a slot technician. Known for his extensive knowledge and approachable nature, customers and guests would often seek him out for advice or simply to enjoy a friendly chat. His commitment to his work and the people that he encountered was a testament to his true character.
Outside of his professional life, Allen enjoyed drawing and reading in his spare time. He was deeply passionate about football, especially the Pittsburgh Stealers and Sumo Wrestling. He was an all around jack-of-all-trades: carpenter, electrician, mechanic, and cook. His family could always depend on him to fix anything and everything. He is survived by his wife of 25 years Angie, his son Julian and daughter Maile, his parents Robert and Mary Ann Montaño, his brother Bryan and wife Lupe, nieces and nephews Gabriel, Monica, Kristy and Juan and extended family and many friends who were fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
