Angelina Baldonado
April 3, 1929 — March 28, 2016
Angelina M. Baldonado, age 86, beloved and devoted, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully, Monday, March 28, 2016. She was a lifelong resident of Bernalillo, NM. Angelina enjoyed watching novellas, golf, and occasionally going to the casino.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fedrico and Teresita Mora; her husbands, Joe H. Chavez and Manuel Baldonado; her siblings, Remijio Mora, Senovia Gabaldon, Eloisa Herrera, Joe Mora, and Nick Mora; son, Leonard Chavez; and grandsons, Daniel Baldonado and Gabriel Valencia. Angelina is survived by her loving children, Sylvia Mares (Robert, Sr.), Barbara Chavez, Gloria Chavez, Richard Chavez (Lorraine), Patrick Chavez, Joe Chavez (Cordy), Norbert Baldonado (Patsy), Chris Baldonado (Yolanda), and Frances Baldonado (Chris); her grandchildren, Michelle, Patsy, Robert Jr., Angie, Ronald, Patrick, Jerry, Richard Jr., Sandra, Ruben, Jason, Joseph, Michael, Ray, Chris Jr., Manuel, Celina, Anthony, and Christopher; 35 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Angelina will forever be missed and remembered as a loving, caring, mother and grandmother, who loved her family unconditionally.
A Rosary will be recited Monday, April 4, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 p.m. Serving as Casket Bearers will be Anthony, Christopher, Robert Jr., Joseph, Jason, and Manuel. Honorary Bearers Chris, Jr., Michael, Richard, Jr., Pat, Jerry, Ronald, Ruben, and Ray.
