Anna Marie ( Nana ) Candelaria
March 28, 1954 — January 24, 2023
Anna Marie (Nana) Candelaria passed away peacefully after a long illness on January 24, 2023,
surrounded by family.
She was predeceased by her parents Phillip and Lucille Candelaria and is survived by her son Greg, Life
Partner David Rios, siblings Victoria (Max Contreras), Yolanda (Anthony Gomez-Pohl), Carmen (Mark
Valadez), Phillip Candelaria (Jessie), and Patricia Candelaria as well as many loving nieces, nephews,
aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, all of whom were very special to her.
Anna was a claims specialist/supervisor for several healthcare plans prior to her retirement in March of
2020. She was Vice-President of the SNMDMP #2 and a member of the Post 69 Auxiliary.
