Antonio "Tony" Vaquera

Antonio "Tony" Ramon Vaquera, age 71, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully, Monday, August 3, 2020.   He was born in Garfield, NM and was a resident of Algodones, NM.  Tony enjoyed playing golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents Esquio and Eva Vaquera; his siblings, Esequio, Jr., Veda, May and Abel.

Tony is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Tomasita "Tomie" Vaquera; his children James Archibeque, Pedro Vaquera and wife Marissa, Antonio Ramon Vaquera and wife Amy, Elizabeth Vaquera and spouse Danielle; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  Tony will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation, 2309 Monterrey Rd., NE, Rio Rancho, NM.  Inurnment will follow at the Algodones Community Cemetery.  Masks are required.
