Betty P. Saunders was born to Ben and Alice Lopez on June 29, 1949 and is the oldest of eight children. Her siblings are Evelyn, Bennett, Marilyn, Dorene, Alice Elaine, Janine and Clyde.
She married the love of her life James M. Saunders and they have been married for 52 years. They have three children which are twin daughters, Karen and Sharon, and one son Scott. She was blessed with two amazing grandsons whom she loved and spoiled, Kenny and Joseph Chappy.
She worked as a house keeper for La Vida Llena for 19 years but her life consisted of caring for her family. She was a loving and giving person who was patient and humble and loved the Lord her God. Betty was a member of the Navajo Nation from the Red House and Mud Clan. Betty knew where she was going and knew she would be seeing her parents very soon.
She will be missed deeply and treasured in our hearts forever.
