Carol Frances Adams, age 80, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico. She was born on July 27, 1945, in Lubbock, Texas, to the late Raymond O. Wood and Elizabeth Beatrice Wood.

Carol made her home in Ojo Encino and was known for her kindness, strength, and deep love for her family. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Eugene D Adams, and her cousin, Elise Dean Haley.

She is survived by the Adams family; Nikivar Adams-Arellano; CoyLynn Adams; Valerie Cayaditto and family; Nicole Cayaditto and family; CeQuan Adams; Shanna Cayaditto; along with numerous grandchildren who brought her great joy.

Carol was a member of FBC Cuba and lived a life grounded in faith and service. Her funeral service will be held at Cuba Baptist Church, 63601 US 550, with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. on December 1, 2025, at FBC Cuba. A potluck dinner will follow the burial at the Fellowship Hall of FBC Cuba.

Pallbearers will be CeQuan Adams, Leonard Arellano, Bryan Mitchell, Santiago Sandoval, Nephi Sandoval, and Mike Castillo. Honorary pallbearers are Nikivar Adams-Arellano, CoyLynn Adams, Valerie Cayaditto, and Nicole Cayaditto.

Carol will be remembered for her generous heart, steady spirit, and the example she set for all who loved her. Her family and friends take comfort in knowing she is reunited with her husband and loved ones who have gone before her.
