Celeste P. Garduno, age 79, was born in Rowe, NM on June 3, 1938. She was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Ruby Martin, spouse Henry Garduno, Grama Archuleta, Grampa BS, Daddy Magadaleno, Tia Mita, Grama Ursula, Tio Joe, Tio Abel and Stella Gonzales.
Celeste is survived by daughter, Patricia "Trish"Garduno (Freddy Lujan), sons; and spouses, Rico Garduno (Marianne), Dean "Dino" (Debbie) Catbagan, and Vince Catbagan. Her siblings and their spouses Amelia "Tiny"(Tony) Lucero, Deluvina "Vina" (Les) Thill, Presciliano "Joe" (Donna) Martin and Ronnie Martin; grandchildren; Brandon Catbagan, Wesley Catbagan, Diego Garduno and Boston Rowe Garduno, God-Daughters; Suzette Olguin, Geraldine Cobos, Carol Garcia, Chelanna Balok. Special mention; Rudy Gonzales, Tony Ortega, Catalino Valencia, Tommy Ortiz, Christy Padilla, Prudencio Gonzales, Teena Davis, Joann Roman and Christopher Lobato.
A Rosary will be recited on Thursday June 22, 2017 at 7:00 p.m., at Sagrada Familia in Rowe, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday June 23, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. also at the church. Urn Bearers will be Sergio Martin, Gerald Lucero, Anthony "Antonio" Lucero, Terry Lucero, Alonzo Martin and Julian Martin. Celeste will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In Mom's words: For my children " I have nothing to leave you, only my Love and Blessings. You were all my "FAVORITES" in different ways, for different reasons. Love your siblings always! Protect and care for your children and one another."
Family- Those near and far away are the most important treasures I have to leave you. They are the only ones who will stand by you in good and bad times. Keep in good standing with them. May God shower you with his Grace, Love and Blessings.
A mis amigos, you know who you are; those that have known me at my worst and at my best and have stood by my side regardless.
Sing to me and for me, share your remembrances with my children; tell them whatever I did, good or bad, I put in one hundred percent, tell them that everything I did, I did "con gusto", con ganas NO REGRETS.
I loved you all so very much, no les digo adios, no mas hasta luego.
