Daniel P. Pacheco “Danny”, 69, of Rio Rancho, NM passed away on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 11, 2025. Danny was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and good friend to those he left behind. Danny was born in Las Vegas, NM on June 19, 1955.
Danny was hard working and dedicated. He spent 40 years working as a truck driver, where he was known for his outstanding service to customers, commitment to his employers and fellow employees, and for his reliability and willingness to always help where he was needed. Despite his many responsibilities he always made time for his family and his passions.
He was a man of integrity, kindness, generosity, and never knew a stranger. He was always cheerful and possessed a dry sense of humor which made many laugh. He has left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.
Danny’s hobbies and interests helped define who he was. He enjoyed time with his family at get togethers, motocross, was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan, enjoyed television and movies, and loved a trip to the casino whenever the opportunity arose.
He is survived by his wife Phyllis Pacheco, his daughter Kayla Pacheco and her Husband Nathaniel Gonzalez, stepson Waylon Gonzales, the light of his life granddaughter Athena Gonzalez as well as many friends and extended family members who will miss him dearly.
We find comfort in knowing that Danny’s legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.
