The family of Deborah Marietta Gutierrez is deeply saddened to announce her sudden passing on March 27th 2026. Born on February 25th 1953 in Council Bluffs, Iowa to Robert and Pricilla Fort. Deborah was 73 years old at her time of passing and lived a full and remarkable life. After graduating high school Deborah went to school to become a nurse. She married Leo Gutierrez in 1977 and together they shared 48 wonderful years together. Deborah was known for her quilting and sewing and her giving nature. She is survived by her husband Leo Gutierrez, son Raymond Ortega, daughter Leslie Kumpf, son in law Keith Kumpf and all her grandchildren Raymond Ortega, Matthew Ortega, Alina Ortega, Brycen Trick, Nathan Trick, Aurelia Kumpf and her great grandchildren Amaya Ortega, John Ortega and Mila Ortega. She is also survived by her siblings Robert Fort, Elaine Fort, David Fort, Cheryl Phol, Debra White, Marie Orio and Patrick Moran, and her cherished friends.
