Dolores Quintana

Dolores M. Quintana, our beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Rust Medical Center in Rio Rancho, NM.  She was born on February 20, 1939 in Bernalillo, NM.  Dolores was the baby of 12 children, born to the late Vicente and Irene Perez.  Transito and Dolores shared treasured memories of life filled with love and devotion.  She will be fondly remembered by her open arms, stories, smoking her cigarettes, being outdoors with her flowers, the Ranch, her feistiness and love she given to her family.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Max and Orlando Quintana; grandson Ryan Farone; and seven brothers; and three sisters.

Dolores is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 56 years, Transito Quintana; her children, Paul Quintana and Sharon Torres, Lori Trujillo; eleven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are her brothers, Emiliano and wife Charlotta, Henry and wife Eloisa; and other numerous loving relatives and friends.  Dolores will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 17, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM, where a Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. and then followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.  Casket Bearers will be Adrian Quintana, Adam Quintana, Eugenio Quintana, Jose Barrientos, Adrian Arriola, and Dominic Lovato.
