Emma Jaramillo

Emma A. Jaramillo, age 85, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully, Friday, September 14, 2018.   She will be fondly remembered as a woman of faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eusebio and Merejilda Aragon. Emma is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Ray Jaramillo; her children, Beverly Acosta and husband Richard, Matthew Jaramillo and wife Angel; her grandchildren, Alicia Escarcega and husband Abel, Johnnie Rey Jaramillo and wife Monique; and seven great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are her brother, Lupe Aragon, and wife Udella; sisters, Porfiria Sanchez and Stella McCoy; and many other loving relatives and friends.  Emma will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM, where a Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. then followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m.  Casket Bearers will be Johnnie Rey Jaramillo, Richard Acosta, George Aragon, Francisco Sanchez, Abel Escarcega, and Jimmy Gutierrez.  Honorary Bearers will be Emma's seven great-grandchildren.
