Fidel Baldonado

Fidel  Baldonado, age 93, beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully, Friday, June 17, 2016.   He was born in Placitas, NM and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM.  Fidel was a proud Veteran of the United State Army who served his country during World War II; he was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, Bernalillo Post.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel and Beatrice (Cardini) Baldonado; his wife, Petrita Baldonado; his son, Johnny Baldonado; his daughter, Joann Baldonado; and six siblings.

Fidel is survived by his loving children, Fidel and wife Agnes, Ernie, Pauline Baldonado, and Georgia Nora; five grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.  Fidel will be greatly missed by his family and by those whose lives he touched.

Mass of Christian Burial for Fidel and his late wife Petrita will be celebrated Friday, July 1, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, in Bernalillo, NM.  Inurnment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 12:45 p.m.
