Francisco Chavez

Francisco A. Chavez was born on February 19, 1916 in Socorro, TX, along with his twin sister Florencia.  After starting a family with Matilde they moved to Albuquerque in 1951 completing his family of nine, whom he loved dearly and was very proud of each and everyone of them.  Francisco was a Master Meat Cutter, opening his own meat processing business with his children as helpers. His love of nature was rivaled with his love of horses.
Francisco is survived by his loving children, Aida Garcia, Maria Luisa Barela, Frank Chavez, Jr., Susan Hofmann, Ann Seaton, Rita Sanchez (Benito), Teresa Chavez, David Chavez, and Martha Chavez; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.  Franciso will be greatly missed by all.
Private Graveside Services were conducted Friday, July 3, 2015.  A Memorial Rosary will be recited Monday, July 6, 2015 at 8:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW, where a Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.
