Frank Garcia

Frank Garcia, age 96, beloved brother, uncle and friend, passed away peacefully Monday, September 10, 2018.  He was born on March 27, 1922 in Jemez Springs, NM, and was a long time resident of Ponderosa, NM. Frank was a proud Veteran of the United States Army who served his country during World War II.  He enjoyed dancing and playing his guitar. Frank will be fondly remember as a man of great religious faith and always had a smile. He was loved by all.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Simon and Christina Garcia; his grandmother, Juanita and eight siblings.  Frank is survived by his brother, Juan Garcia and wife Vina; and his sister, Aurora Gonzales and husband Frank; nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.  Frank will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 18, 2018 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino del Pueblo in Bernalillo, NM, where a Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. then followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m.  Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.   Family and friends are cordially invited to join the family for lunch upon return from Santa Fe at Our Lady of Sorrows Social Center in Bernalillo, NM
