Gilbert W. Garcia, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away at his home on March 31, 2016. He was born on March 30, 1937 and was a lifelong resident of Espanola (San Pedro), and lived the last 13 years in Corrales, NM.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Liberato and Tonita O. Garcia; brothers, Rafael Garcia, Juan Garcia, Pete Garcia, Jose Garcia (step-brother); sisters, Trinnie Hartsoch and Lucy Hamilton.
Gilbert is survived by wife, MaryAnn O. Garcia; daughters, Theresa Quintana (John), Maria Bustamante (Gerald), and Paula Garcia; four grandchildren, Jacob and Paul Quintana, Matthew and Ava Bustamante; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
A Rosary will be recited Thursday, April 7, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW, Albuquerque, NM 87114, where the Services of Christian Burial will follow at 9:00 a.m. A private Innichement will take place at a later date.
