Gilberto Vidales Casias (Gibby)

Age 72, went home to be with our Lord and Savior Saturday, August 29, 2015. He was born on April 22, 1943, to Masedoneo and Carmen, in Mancos. CO. Gilberto bravely served in the Marine Corps and continued his career with the United States Post Office. He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandparents; his brothers Albert Donnie Casias and Frank Virgil Casias; his sister Lila Lewis; his wife Patricia (Ryan) Casias; and his daughter Elizabeth (Betty Mae) Fountaine. Gilberto is survived by his brother Fred Casias; his sister Tina Gonzales; his loving children Jeremy Casias, Colleen Fountaine, Thomas Fountaine; his grandchildren Desiree and husband Donovan Haney, Tiffany Edwards, Phillip Edwards, Karen Seavello, Theresa Seavello, Ashley Fountaine, Courtney Fountaine, Emily Fountaine and Collin Fountaine; and his great grandchildren Jackie, Danee, Casey, Marilyn, and Elijah.  Guilberto will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.  Rosary will take place at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino Del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM on September 3, 2015 at 5:30 pm.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated, September 4, 2015 at Our Lady of Sorrow Catholic Church at 10:00 am.  Internment to take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery on September 18th at 2:15 am.   To view information or leave a condolence please visit www.danielsfuneral.com
