Jake Contreras

Jake Contreras, 68, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on September 5, 2025. He was born on March 18, 1957, in Socorro to Jacobo Contreras and Geraldine Aragon.

Jake proudly served his country in the United States Navy as a Navy SEAL, where he exemplified courage, dedication, and honor. After his military service, he built a long and successful career with the State of New Mexico Department of Transportation, retiring after many years of hard work and commitment.

Known for his strong spirit, warm heart, and unwavering loyalty to family and friends, Jake touched the lives of everyone who knew him.

Jake will be deeply missed, but his legacy of service, love, and integrity will live on in the hearts of those he cherished.
