John Urban

John Urban, age 31, beloved son, father, companion, and brother, was embraced by the Lord and taken to Eternal Life, Sunday, June 28, 2015.  He was a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM.  John attended Cibola High School.  At the age of 16 John was awarded the New Mexico State Golden Gloves trophy in Clovis, NM, he continued his passion for boxing through his lifetime.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Angie Urban; his uncle Danny Urban; and maternal grandparents, Juan and Margaret Prieto.  John is survived by his loving father, Jimmy Urban and wife Cindy; his mother, Louella Urban; his precious children, Amari Urban, Angelo and Andres; the love of his life, Christine Cotinola; his brothers, James Urban and wife Nikohl, Jason and Jesse Urban, Michael Cervantes and wife Diondria, Daniel Zamora; and numerous loving relatives of Santa Rosa, NM and a host of friends.  John will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose hearts he touched.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 1, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Final Viewing will be Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St., NW.   Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 9:00 a.m. Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church.  Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Casket Bearers will be Frank Madrid, Joe Chavez, Brian Urban, Josh Richards, Mark Aguilar, Nathan Flores, Joaquin Chavez, and Steve Kluess.
