Jose Lucero

Jose Peter Lucero, age 72, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, January 30, 2019.  He was a lifelong resident of Pena Blanca, NM.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Guillermo and Amalia Lucero; brothers, Alfonso, Rubel, and Ramon Lucero; and sisters, Marylou Bernal, and Virginia Lucero.

Jose is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Carla M. Lucero; his sons, Pete, Roger and his wife Zena, Carlos Lucero; his precious grandchildren, Jacob, Savanna, Shariah, Amaya, Ezra, Monique, Carlos Jr., Marcos, Aliyah, and Meyah.  Also surviving are his siblings, Anna, Lolie, Lupe, Kathy, Willie L. Jr., and Edward; his Goddaughter, Carrie; numerous nieces, nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.  Jose will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.

A Rosary will be recited Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, in Pena Blanca, NM, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m.  Inurnment will follow at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery, Pena Blanca, NM.
