Joseph David Trujillo, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family at the age of 83 on August 8, 2026, Joseph was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on June 24, 1943, He is survived of his loving wife of 63 years Pauline Trujillo, his five children and their spouses, Joseph Trujillo (Tina), Richard Trujillo (Destinnie), Jeanette Trujillo, Andre Trujillo, Viola Trujillo-Otero (Adrian), two brothers Freddie Trujillo and Eddie Trujillo, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren,

He was preceded in death by his parents Gregorio Trujillo and Rose Trujillo, brother Gregorio Trujillo Jr, two sisters, Irene Gutierrez and Mary Garcia.

Joseph loved to fish and go camping, as well as hunting, He also enjoyed going to Las Vegas and playing poker (Deuces Wild) and having his frozen margaritas, He worked for Utility Block Company up until his retirement as a Brick Manufacturer, as a child he would travel to Woodlake, California with his family to pick the orchards, where he attended elementary school and made his First holy communion, he loved telling his stories about his fishing and hunting days, he enjoyed the company of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church 9502 4th St NW, Alameda, NM 87114, Rosary will be recited at 8am, Mass will follow at 9am, with a Reception to follow. Burial will be at a later date.
