Senior Airman Joshua Aragon entered into the arms of our Lord on August 16, 2025. Joshua was born on December 10, 2001 in Albuquerque, NM. He joined the Air Force on April 19, 2022 and was a security forces specialist stationed in Cheyenne Wyoming. Joshua recently received The Air and Space Achievement Medal award when he came upon a car accident, administered CPR to a woman restoring her pulse, and eventually saving her life. He was a true hero.
Joshua is survived by his mom, Jessica Ortiz, brother Andrew Aragon, dad Richard Aragon, grandparents Robert Ortiz, Claudia Meraz, and Lydia Aragon, uncle Martin Ortiz, cousin Antonio Roybal, and many other aunts, uncles cousins and friends.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, August 26th at 5 PM with a rosary to follow at 6 at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Funeral mass with full military honors will be held on Wednesday, August 27th at 9 AM at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery.
