Kathleen Anne
Neeley
Sep 17, 1962 — Jun 25, 2026
It is with heavy hearts and profound gratitude for a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Kathy Neeley, an extraordinary woman whose bright spirit touched the lives of everyone fortunate enough to know her. Kathy peacefully departed from this world on June 25, 2026, at the age of 63, surrounded by her loving children in the comforting embrace of a hospital in Albuquerque, her birthplace. Born September 17, 1962, Kathy entered this world as the cherished daughter of Charles and Mary wilder, who preceded her in death, along with her dear brother, Bob Wilder. The warmth of her family nurtured her compassionate and joyous nature, which became the hallmark of her life. Kathy graduated from Cibola High School, where her love for learning and her vibrant personality began to bloom. Throughout her career, she worked tirelessly in various retail jobs, where her friendliness and infectious laughter brightened the days of colleagues and customers alike. Kathy was a woman of many passions, her love for country music and romantic movies providing a soundtrack to her days filled with laughter and joy. Christmas held a special magic for her, particularly the sights of snowmen, which brought a sparkle to her eyes. Her collection of Precious Hopes figurines was a testament to her belief in love and hope, and she found delight in all things Cinderella, which reflected her own inner beauty and grace. Perhaps most cherished were the moment spent with family, whether it was playing card and board games with her eldest and his wife or watching movies with her middle sons. Her home was a haven of love and laughter, always filled with the sounds of family and the echoes of her wild laughter and tender tears. Kathy leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by her six devoted children and their spouses, her supportive sister and brothers, and her many adored nieces. Her heart was filled with joy at the birth of her grandchild, who brought new light into her life and continues her legacy of love. In Kathys honor, a private funeral ceremony will be held, reflecting the intimate and personal bonds she cherished throughout her life. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church for hosting her services, and to the compassionate staff at Daniels Funeral & Cremation for their support during this difficult time. Kathy Neeleys life was a testament to the power of love and laughter, and although she will be deeply missed, her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return. As we say goodbye, we celebrate her life and indelible mark she left on our hearts, knowing that her bright and friendly spirit will guide us always. May she rest in peace, enveloped in the same love she so freely shared with the world.
