Leonora "Nora" Lovato

With a deep sense of sorrow, we announce the passing of Leonora Lovato. Nora passed away October 29, 2025, at home surrounded by family. She was born May 04, 1936, in Cabazon, NM to Julian Lopez and Teresita Blea.

She was survived by her four children Frances Martinez (husband Michael Martinez). Ernest Lovato (wife Carla Lovato), Diane Tafoya (husband Lawrence Tafoya), Irene Jaramillo (husband Michael Jaramillo). Nora spent her early days raising her children and grandchildren. She has 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is proceeded in death by her husband Elisario Lovato, son Ralph Lovato. and great grandson Jude Ralph Trujillo.

Family would like to extend a special thank you to Bosque Trails Hospice, and hospice nurses. Also, to Michael Jaramillo and Lawrence Tafoya for supporting their wives and lending a helping hand when needed.

A viewing will be held at Alameda Mortuary, 9420 4th St NW, ABQ, NM, on Thursday November 06, 2025, at 4:00pm; a rosary will be recited at 6:30pm at the Alameda Mortuary Chapel. The mass of Christian burial will be on Friday November 07, 2025, at 9:00am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church located at 9502 4th St NW, ABQ, NM; interment will follow at Mount Calvary.
