Lorraine Garduno

Lorraine Garduno, age 82, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully Sunday, December 22, 2019. She was born in Bernalillo, NM, and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM.  Lorraine was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, where she enjoyed singing with the Church choir for over 35 years; and attended weekly prayer meetings at Our Lady of Guadalupe and Holy Rosary Churches.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ramon and Frances Garduno; grandchildren, Eva Chavez and Michael Maestas; her siblings, Helen, MaryLou, Georgina, Antonio "Tony", and Lawrence "Willow".

Lorraine is survived by loving children, Gloria Gonzales, Rita Perez, Wilfred Maestas Jr., and Albert Maestas; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.  Also surviving are her siblings, Diana Chavez, Maggie Lucero, Alice Chavez, Sally Garduno, Raymond Garduno, and Lillian Garcia and husband Henry; and many other relatives and friends.  Lorraine will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be Monday, January 6, 2020 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1860 Griegos Rd., NW, Albuquerque, NM, where a Rosary will be recited at 8:00 a.m. then followed by the Funeral Mass at 9:00 a.m.
