Manuelita (Nellie) Valdez

Manuelita (Nellie) D. Valdez, born January 24, 1936, passed away on April 2, 2021, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Manuelita is preceded in death by her father, Dionicio Dominguez; her mother, Bonifacia Dominguez; her nephew, Floyd Dominquez; and seven siblings, Esteban, Joe, Pete, Nestor, Consuelo, Petrolina, and Bertha. Manuelita is survived by her loving husband of sixty-four years, Agustin Valdez, Jr.; her daughter, Ymelda E. Valdez; her son, Dennis R. Valdez; her daughter-in-law, Alisa M. Valdez; her grandchildren, Eric A. Valdez and Isaac A. Valdez; her brother, Filiberto (Phil) Dominguez; and multiple nephews and nieces. Manuelita was born and raised in Truchas, New Mexico, and possessed a love and adoration for the Land of Enchantment throughout her entire life. Her unparalleled kindness made a permanent, positive impact on all she interacted with. Mere words cannot begin to adequately express how immensely she will be missed. Her memory will forever live on through her loved ones. A private burial will be held on a date to be determined in Truchas, New Mexico
