Margie Chavez

Margie Chavez, age 67, beloved and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 14, 2019, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Barrancas, Mexico and was a resident of Albuquerque, NM.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luis and Natividad Chavez; brother, Manuel Chavez; and sister, Elfida Montoya.

Margie is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Samuel Trujillo, Jr; her children, Paul Martinez and wife Tara, Joanne Vigil and husband Terry Garner; step-daughter, Elizabeth Trujillo Davis and husband Drey; her precious grandchildren, Joshua, Mariana, Antonio, and Meliana Martinez, Alexa Rae Chavez, Eliana Marina Chavez, Jacob Samuel Vazquez, Kaya and Jayden Davis; and a family friend,  Monroy Chavez.  Also surviving are her sisters, Mary Miller, Erminia Montes, Arlene Chavez, Adela Chavez; sister-in-law, Celina Aguirre; other numerous family members and a host of friends.  Margie will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Legacy Church, 4701 Wyoming Blvd., NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109.  Inurnment will take place  at 12:00 p.m. at Fairview Memorial Park, 700 Yale Blvd., SE.
