Marian Jaramillo

Marian G. Jaramillo, age 79, beloved and devoted mother, grandmother and sister, was embraced by the Lord and released to Eternal Life, Wednesday, February 17, 2016.   She was a descent of San Marcial, NM, and was born on April 17, 1936 to the late Simon and Esther Gallegos.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Jose Lorenzo and James LeRoy Jaramillo; daughter, Theresa Marie Jaramillo; and a sister, Rita Gallegos.  Marian is survived by her loving children, Gloria Miera and Catherine Cusack, Gina Ortiz and husband Alejandro, Elizabeth Terrazas, Susan Chavez and husband Chris; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sisters, Veronica Gonzales and Margaret Moya; nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends.  Marian will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be Monday, February 22, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Daniels Family Funeral Services - Alameda Mortuary, 9420 Fourth St., NW in Albuquerque, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Service of Christian Burial will be Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at San Ignacio Catholic Church, 1300 Walter NE.  Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Simon Miera, LeRoy Lucero, Eli Miera, Enrique Trevizo, Jonathan Prudencio, Savino Anguiano, Joshua Seidel, and John Moya.
