Marino "Reno" Gauna, 75, passed away on May 15, 2024 at home with his family.
He was born on October 23, 1948 and was a lifelong resident of Bernalillo N.M.
He graduated from Bernalillo High School with Honors in advance band. Upon graduation he was already a member of the band Tommy G and The Charms. A number of years later Reno was inducted into the Music Hall of Fame for his musical talents and accomplishments while in this group.
He proudly served in The U.S. Navy and retired after a career in accounting with The U.S. Federal Forest Service.
Marino also, owned and ran the longest running nightclub in Bernalillo where he made many acquaintances and even more life long friends. His passions were fishing, baseball, horse-racing, music, and his family.
Marino will be greatly missed by many. "Always in our Hearts Never Forgotten"
Marino was preceded in death by his parents Augustine and Mary Gauna, and his son Diego Jose Gauna.
His survived by his only daughter Kimberly & husband Vincent Delara, granddaughters Mariah Gauna-Sanchez,Yezzika Gauna, grandson Brandon Gutierrez, and great grandchildren Amirah, and Emilio Guana-Sanchez.
