Michael Purcell

Michael Dean Purcell, age 67, beloved husband, dad, granddaddy, son, and brother, was taken from us unexpectedly and was welcomed into heaven on June 22, 2018. He was preceded in death by his dad, Dean; and his son, Josiah. Mike is survived by his Soul Mate Donna; his loving mother Margie; his children Joel (Dana), John (Deborah), Shelly (Luke), and Kayla (Justin); his step sons Joe, Brian, and Steve; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Olivia, Ryder, Aiden and Kinsley; and sister Renita.
Mike was a graduate of Valley High School and attended Texas Tech University and UNM.  He owned and operated Purcell Construction for over 30 years.  He retired in 2012.
Mike was a member of First Baptist Church of Rio Rancho, and a deacon and sang in the choir at First Baptist downtown and Northdale.

Mike was a Communications Tech in the US Navy.

Mike loved to shoot sporting clays and skeet. He also loved working on his Mustang. Golf and bowling were also favorites, along with skiing and enjoying all of life’s special moments with his sons, step sons, wife and granddaughters. We always had such fun.
