Nancy Pepin

Nancy R Pepin passed away at her home in Albuquerque, NM on November 10, 2022. She was born in Fort Smith, Arkansas and moved to Albuquerque with her parents when she was 16. She attended Highland High School and graduated with an Anthropology degree from the University of New Mexico. Later in life, she went back to school and became a Special Education Teacher's Aide with Albuquerque Public Schools. She was preceded in death by her husband William L. Pepin and her parents Edward and Ruth Johnston. She is survived by her children Denise Pepin, Michele Pepin, Stefanie Pepin and Valerie Abeyta and son-in-law Jesus Abeyta, by her grandchildren Nicholas Abeyta, Matthew Abeyta, Jonathon Segura, Beatrice Segura, and Jacqueline Segura-Bilbo and their families, including 13 great-grandchildren. She was a kind, loving and generous person who accepted everyone for who they were without judgement and will be deeply missed.
