Patrick Chavez

Patrick J. Chavez, age 63, beloved father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully at his home, Saturday, December 22, 2018.  He was a lifelong resident of Bernalillo, NM.  Pat enjoyed fishing, camping, and spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Jose H. Chavez Sr.; his mother, Angelina M. Baldonado; brother, Leonard Chavez; and nephews, Gabriel Valencia and Daniel Baldonado.

Pat is survived by his Sons, Ruben and Patrick Jason Chavez; his granddaughters, Destiny, Rica, Camille and Savanah. Also surviving are his loving siblings, Sylvia Mares (Robert Sr), Barbara Chavez, Gloria Chavez, Richard Chavez Sr. (Lorraine), Joe H. Chavez (Cordy), Chris Baldonado (Yolanda), Frances Baldonado (Chris), Norbert Baldonado (Patsy); and numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.  Pat will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.

A Rosary will be recited Thursday, February 7, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 301 Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. Inurnment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Urn Bearers will be Robert Mares, Jr., Sam Sena, Chris Garcia, and Zeke Quintana.
