Pedro Padilla

Pedro was embraced by our Precious Lord Jesus and taken to his heavenly home on April 26, 2018.   Pedro age 43 was born in Albuquerque NM. He graduated from Del Norte High School and attended UNM School of Education.  He was currently employed at UNM in food service.  Pedro enjoyed reading, cooking for his grandma, student teaching, bike riding, painting in water color media and gardening.  Family was a very important part of Pedro's life.

Pedro  was preceded in death by his mother Virginia Lucero; paternal grandparents, Pedro and Marcella Padilla; maternal grandfather, Ernesto Lucero; uncles, Lorenzo and Florencio Lucero; and cousins, Cassandra Lucero and Jeanette Herrera.

Pedro is survived by his father Lorenzo Padilla (Lucille); and brother, Lorenzo A. Padilla.  Also surviving are his maternal grandmother, Maria Lucero; his loving aunts, Frances Lucero, Elaine Rowin (Sean), Fabby Lucero, Frances Barela, and Modesta Herrera; uncles, Ernesto Lucero (Mary), Ray Lucero (Nadine); and other numerous loving relatives and friends.

A Rosary will be recited Friday, May 4, 208 at 8:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW, in Albuquerque, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m.  Interment will follow at Sandia Memory Gardens, 9500 San Pedro Dr NE, Albuquerque.  Casket Bearers will be Jose Maria Herrera, Jude Herrera, Johnny Herrera, Joseph Lucero, Gabriel Lucero, and Ray Paul Lucero.   Honorary Bearers will be Carmen Medina, Marcella Herrera, Jesusita Herrera, Benito Barela, Ray Herrera Jr., Ruben Lucero, Consuelo Roper, Robyn Lucero, Catherine Pena, Miranda McLeod, and Joslynn Rowin.
