Rawlen Martin

December 29, 1947 — May 28, 2016

Rawlen H. Martin, age 68, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 28, 2016.   He was a resident of Moriarty, NM, formerly of Fredericksburg, VA.  Rawlen was a proud 30 year Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, who served our country during the Viet Nam War.

Rawlen is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Jolene K. Martin; his children, Kavin Martin, Cheryl Martin-Salinas and husband John Salinas, Desiree McSween, Brandon McSween; his grandchildren, Krystal Jimenez, Amie Jimenez, Joseph Martin, Adam Salinas, Christian Salinas, Savannah McSween, and Abigail McSween; and great-grandson, Marcus Jimenez.  Also surviving are his siblings, Marion Martin, Beryl Martin, and Carmen Imergoot; and other relatives and friends.  Rawlen will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.

A Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Edgewood, 20 Leslie, Edgewood, NM 87015.  A Reception will follow also at the Church
