Raymundo Martinez

March 15, 1930 — March 16, 2017

Raymundo Martinez, Age 87,  beloved and devoted husband, father, and grandfather, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 16, 2017.   He was born in Ponderosa, NM and was a resident of Canon, NM.

Raymundo is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Aurora  Martinez; his children, Leora Chavez, Reina Martinez, Nelson Martinez and wife Janet, Jerry Martinez and wife Bobbie Sue; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren; and many more loving relatives and friends.  Raymundo will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.

Viewing will  be Tuesday, March 21, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church,1502 Sara Rd., SE, Rio Rancho, NM 87124; where a Rosary will be recited at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m.  Interment will be Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at  Santa Fe National Cemetery.
