Richard Leroy Duran a lifetime member of Cuba NM passed away on September 3, 2026. He was born on April 10, 1950. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents Telesfor Duran, Alicia C de Baca Duran, and brother John Duran. Also from Cuba. He is survived by his siblings: Theresa Duran, Jerry and Marcia Duran, Patricia and Steve Martinez, Margaret Duran, Mike Bird Romero, Joe Duran, Mary Duran Cutshall, David Duran, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Leroy worked as an Office Equipment Technician for many years and later as a Truck Driver while he welcomed its challenges, and travels.Leroy enjoyed the casino, fixing things, cooking, visiting with family and friends, solving puzzles, and his pets. He was an avid Denver Broncos fan, and he never missed Wheel of Fortune and Vanna White. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

 His funeral will be in Cuba at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, on September 17, 2026. Rosary at 9:30 and mass to follow at 10:00. Burial immediately following at Catholic gravesite.
