Richard Harold Vigil, age 68, beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully, Monday, August 10, 2015. He was born in Fairview, NM and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM. Richard enjoyed playing chess, watching Lobo Basket Ball, gardening; and was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dionicio and Ascension Vigil; his sisters, Stella Meastas, Cora Martinez, Irene Ferber; brothers, Albert, Leonor, Mariano, Adolf, Eugene, and Dionicio Vigil, Jr. Richard is survived by his two loving sons, Eric and Marcus Vigil; his precious grandchildren, Regina, Daniel, and Julian Vigil; sister-in-law, Nellie Vigil; and numerous loving relatives and friends. Richard will be greatly missed by all.
A Committal Service will be conducted Friday, August 14, 2015 at 9:45 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 N Guadalupe Street, Santa Fe, NM.
