Robert "Bobby" C. McCoy, age 49, beloved son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, passed away peacefully, Thursday morning, October 29, 2015, while surrounded by his loving family. Bobby was born in Albuquerque, NM on July 25, 1966. Bobby is an alumnus of St. Therese Catholic School, St. Pius X High School, UNM Civil Engineering and UNM Anderson EMBA programs. He was a professional Engineer for the New Mexico Department of Transportation for 23 years.
Robert is survived by his loving parents, Valentin and Dolores Gertrude McCoy; maternal grandmother, Isabel Aragon; his sister, Valerie McCoy; brother, Brian McCoy and wife Audrey; niece and Goddaughter, Abigail; niece, Sophia; and nephew, Leo Valadez. Also surviving are his aunts, Mildred Borrego, Florence McCoy, Bernadette Fuentes, and Tita Dobbs; uncles, Joe, Fil, Julian, Alvin, Matthew Aragon, and Max McCoy; numerous cousins and a host of friends. Bobby will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose hearts he touched.
A Rosary will be recited Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at St. Therese Catholic Church, located on Fourth and Mildred. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 a.m. also at the Church. Inurnment will take place at a later date in Cuba, NM
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Memorial Contributions be made to St. Therese Catholic School.
