It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Roberto M. Granado Jr. “Boy”, 70, of Las Cruces, NM who died on July 22, 2023.
Boy was born July 6, 1953, in Las Cruces, NM to Roberto Sr. and Marcella Granado. He was a long-haul driver
for Allied Van lines back in his day and later worked for Golden Corral where he assisted with opening various
chains in the Southwest region. He was a great pool player, avid motorcycle and muscle car enthusiast who
loved going to Casinos and trying new places to eat. He will be deeply missed.
Boy is survived by his 3 children Veronica Nuñez, Aaron (Jennifer) Granado, Destiny Bañuelos, and 9
grandchildren. Also survived by his siblings Angie Lindvall, Tony (Zulema) Granado, Adela (Pete) Serna, Vickie
(Rudy) Romero, Ray (Kim) Granado, Jimmy (Rhonda) Granado, Lita (Earl) Romero, as well as numerous
nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents Roberto Sr. and Marcella Granado, brother Carlos, and sisters Annie
and Olga.
Celebration of Life, Cremation and inurnment will be taking place at a later date.
