Sadie Whitaker
August 12, 1947 — March 30, 2017
Sadie M. Whitaker, age 69, beloved mother, sister, and aunt, was embraced by the Lord Thursday, March 30, 2017, while surrounded by her loving family. She was a lifelong resident Albuquerque, NM, and a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Whitaker; her parents, Crecenciano and Merlinda Gurule; and several siblings.
Sadie is survived by daughters, Christina and Ericka Whitaker; sisters, Florence Archibeque and Beatrice Aragon; sister-in-law, Juanita Gurule; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Sadie will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.
A Rosary will be recited Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 9502 Fourth St., NW in Albuquerque. Service of Christian Burial will be Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. also at the Church.
