Sam Cordova

Sam Cordova, age 81, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandpa, and brother, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2016.  He was born in San Ysidro, NM and was a resident of Bernalillo, where he was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church; and a volunteer for St. Vincent De Paul food bank.  Sam was also a member of the Sandoval County Sheriff's Posse.

Sam is survived by loving wife, Irene Cordova; his children, Bobby Cordova and wife Dawn, Larry Cordova, Irene Cameron and husband David, Laura Cordova, Mona Rodriguez, Chris Cordova, Gloria Castaneda, Angelica Lovato, Lupe Franklin and husband Anthony, Beatrice Tapia, and Roberto Montanez; 32 grandchildren;  40 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.  Sam will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.

Visitations will be Tuesday, December 13, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church, 301 Camino del Pueblo in Bernalillo, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. also at the Church.
