Sidney Valencia

Sidney A. Valencia, age 63, beloved father, grandfather, and brother, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, November 7, 2018. He was born in San Diego, CA and was a resident of Bernalillo, NM.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, softball, basketball, and golf.

He was preceded in death by his parents Erineo and Arabella Valencia; brother Ernie Valencia; and sister, Sharon Valencia.  Sidney is survived by his loving daughters, Amanda M. Martinez and husband Isaiah, Reina and Marissa Valencia; his precious grandchildren, Savannah Saavedra, Eliana, Ava, and Elijah Martinez.  Also surviving are his siblings, Toby Valencia, Kathy Escarcida, Ricky, Dennis, Mateo, and Rodney Valencia; and other numerous relatives and friends.  Sidney will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those whose lives he touched.

A Rosary will be recited Monday, November 19, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM, where the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m.  Inurnment to follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery
