Age 74, passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021. He was born in Albuquerque, NM on October 22, 1946.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Manuelita Sandoval Serna
Joe is survived by wife, Irene Serna of Albuquerque, NM, daughter Elaine (wife Melissa) Segura Barela, and three stepchildren, Mark (wife Reylene) Garcia, Carlos Garcia, Erik Garcia. His father Santiago C Serna. Four siblings, Theresa (husband Larry) Keller, Susan (husband Mark) Alexander, Felix (wife Lorraine) Serna, Rudy (wife Virginia) Serna. 8 grandchildren, and 3 Great-grandchildren.
Joe enjoyed spending time at Conchas Lake with his wife and family, he enjoyed feeding the deer at the lake every morning, the deer would know and wait for him every morning, he also enjoyed working outside, Joe will be missed very much.
Rosary will be held at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church on Wednesday June 30, 2021@ 8:00 am, Mass of Christian Burial 9:00 am. Interment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery
