Margaret Short

Margaret Short, age 72, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, November 5, 2019.   She was born in Bernalillo, NM and was a resident of Rio Rancho, NM.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Tony and Ida Fierro; her brothers, Andres, Norbert, Carlos, Guillermo, and Anthony Fierro.

Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Robert "Bob" Short; her son, Robert Short and wife Lisa; her precious grandchildren, Cody and Laci Short; sister, Pauline Fierro; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Margaret will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those whose lives she touched.

Visitation will be Friday, November 15, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino del Pueblo, Bernalillo, NM,  where a Rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. and then followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m.  Interment will take place at Vista Verde Memorial Park in Rio Rancho.  Casket Bearers will be Robert Short, Cody Short, Norberto Fierro, Jr., Andres Fierro, Adrian Morales and Chris Baca.
