Phil (Filemon) Lucero

February 20, 1937 — December 10, 2021

Phil (Filemon) Lucero Born February 20, 1937 in Pena Blanca, New Mexico. He went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday December 10, 2021 at the age of 84. He was a man of great faith and served in the U.S. Navy. He was a resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico and a member of St. Therese of the Little Flower Catholic Church. Phil was proceeded in death by his parents, Fermin and Claudia Lucero, his sisters, Sylvia Lucero, Laura Aragon, and Joanne Narvaiz. His brothers, Father Ramon Aragon, Fermin Lucero Jr. and Wilfred Lucero. He is survived by his two brothers, C.F. and Issac Lucero and sister Clarabelle Padilla. He is also survived by his wife of 60 years, Bessie Lucero, his daughters, Geraldine Gutierrez husband Audie, Sharon Lucero husband Randy, Joyce Lucero, and Janice Baca husband Chris. His son Eric Lucero and wife Annette. Eight grandchildren, Randy Joe fiance Felicia, Jacquelyn, Claudia, Erica husband Chris, Dominique fiance Michael, Jonathan, Phillip and Ivan. Four great grandchildren, Jeremiah, Mila “Milly”, Arya and Carson, two family pets, Sonny & Daz. We will miss you dearly and we will always carry your memory in our hearts. Services will be on Tuesday January 4, 2021 at St. Therese of the Little Flower Catholic Church. Rosary @ 8:30am and mass to follow. Burial will be on Wednesday January 5, 2021 in Santa Fe, NM at Santa Fe National Cemetery @ 9:00am
